Probing the world (放眼世界), 2019
150 x 60 x 85 cm, tiles, concrete, metal

A tiled world map, centered on Asia and the Pacific, was recovered from the abandoned school in Liuyin village in China. I decided to move it outside the school, in a passage area, a crossroads where roads and river meet. I gave it the form of an elementary architecture, not to leave it directly to the topology of nature, creating a dialogue with the houses and tombs scattered in the surrounding countryside.

Double fields is a three-people creation, and Passepartout Duo joined in the
process for the music.  The main stage element, a modular painting,
was made before the start of the scenographic work and was a determining
factor to exchange with He Haoran and Li Kunlong.

He Haoran was a sailor for three years and experienced street dance before
contemporary dance. Li Kunlong, after years as a dancer in the army became independent contemporary dancer, and he is the creator and director of the jazz bar IN FREE LIVE.

Double Fields was performed at :
Dimensions Art Center on 2019.06.08 for «Double Fields» exhibition opening, Chongqing, China
In Free Live Art Space on 2019.06.09 followed by a concert of Passeparout Duo, Chongqing, China

The bridge’s labyrinth
, 2019

video, 3’43 mn

Huangjiaoping is an old neighborhood of Chongqing city in China, culturally and historically rich. It is planned to build there the Huangjiaping Yangtzi Bridge to streamline the city's traffic, which will be the biggest change the neighborhood encountered since several decades.

In this video, Yang Mo and her friend Wang Mengting, both 9-year-old, who live on the site where the bridge will be built, are making up a story while looking at the virtual pictures I created to represent the future bridge.

The Bridge’s labyrinth was projected on an advertisement truck into the streets of Huangjiaoping distric during the Chongqing International Experimental Visual Art Biennale in 2019.
